Marston's

Since 1834 Marston's have been producing beers of the highest quality and taste in the home of British brewing, Burton upon Trent, using the finest natural ingredients and craftsmanship to produce a very traditional, very British range of beers. John Marstons made his first uncompromising decision when he chose Burton as the place for his brewery in 1834.

The secret of Burton's brewing success lies in its water with its unique combination of sulphur, calcium, magnesium and low sodium levels - the perfect base on which to brew Bitter beers. Marston's is the only brewer in the UK to still employ coopers and to use the Burton Union System.

Marston's Old Empire 5.7% ABV

Marston's Old Empire has all the genuine characteristics of a true India Pale Ale. Its strong hoppy taste and higher alcoholic strength give it all the preservative qualities necessary to last the 3 month journey from Burton to Bombay. Old Empire is a pale golden beer, brewed using Optic malt with Goldings and Fuggles hops, before being late hopped with the American Cascade hop for a final citric edge.

Marston's Pedigree 4.5% abv

Marston’s Pedigree has always been crafted using the finest natural ingredients to ensure you receive a truly exceptional beer. We only use natural Burton spring water and Maris Otter barley, Fuggles and Goldings hops. A highly traditional ale.

Marstons Resolution 4.7% ABV

At 4.7% Marston’s Resolution is an unusually strong, premium ale that’s double fermented during the brewing process to turn all the sugar into alcohol, making it the lowest carbohydrate, and lowest calorie ale on the market.
