Hannah Leathers
What is your desert island dish and drink? A delicious buttery Chardonnay, with a prawn cocktail? I’m a child of the 80’s and I still love it!

Sum yourself up in three words? Happiness is Hannah-shaped

If you could be a cocktail what would you be and why? A prawn one Or, to my shame, a Piña Colada. I have the palate of a toddler.

What’s your drink of choice? Champagne or a white Burgundy, preferably drunk at Le Boulingrin in Reims

Eureka food moment? Being allowed to order a fillet steak when I was 11 in Guernsey. I was furious that I had been denied something so delicious for so long

Most memorable drink moment?  The first Christmas after we got married, my father-in-law opened a bottle of Château d’Yquem from 1945. He’d been allowed to choose one thing when his grandfather died to remember him by, and he chose that bottle

Favourite spots to have a drink? Anywhere my children can’t find me

If you distilled, brewed or made your own drink what would it be called and why? Something with tea in it. I drink so much that I think my blood should actually be sponsored by Twinings

Where can people usually find you outside of work Elbow deep in the washing machine. It’s a glamorous life

Favourite holiday destination? Pensacola Florida for the sugar white sand and the endless shallow warm sea of my childhood memories. Also known as ‘the redneck Riviera’ and the home of my dad’s family…we keep quite quiet about that

If you found £10 what would you spend it on? Food. I’d go straight to Gail’s and buy lots of pastry-based items. You don’t get much change there from £10. In fact, I’d probably need to have found £20

Tell us something we didn’t know about you I can Cossack dance, but not as well as I think and even less well after a drink, which tends to be when it’s most likely to be attempted
